When I have the same album twice with different formats, e.g. AIFF 44,1kHz/16bit and 96kHz/24bit with the same metadata, Audirvana combines the album into 1 album with double tracks.
Other audio servers/players do not show this behaviour.
I searched the forumand found 1 topic from 2021.
Is there any official response from Audirvana on this issue?

Hi Antoine
(Fortunately) I cannot recreate the issue.
I had removed the album(s) and after rescanning added only 1 Highrez album.
When I now add the same album in other format, Audirvana creates a 2nd album (as expected).
Of course, the album folder names has to be (slightly) different in order to be able to be able to copy in the same Artist folder. Metadata can be the same.
So, don’t know what happened before, but the topic can be closed.
