When I scroll through my albums, their »sequence per row« often changes. Hard to explain, so I prepared the following images. They show a before scrolling situation and an after scrolling situation. Watch how the Album 17 – 20 row changes from image one to two.

Thank you for your post about this. Are you using Windows or Mac when you have this behavior? Do you have this behavior only when you have 4 albums per line? If you try to have more albums on the same line with the zoom, do you get the same thing?
It is Windows 10.
I believe I have never tried the zoom before. I did it just now, changing the view to 5 albums per row, which does not show the behaviour. I then switched back to 4 albums per row view, and even there the behaviour did no longer occur. So maybe my zoom slider had been sitting on some »shaky position« before
