Is there an option to insist that Audirvana simply play the tracks in a directory in alphabetical order? I have many sonatas and symphonies where the disk number is incorrect, and AV plays them in the wrong order.

Have you tired this view to see your music like it is?
my tracks have all their numbers, but you can see if the Tree View
respect the way they are from your music (CD folder),
then, play from there…
you can also in an album you choose the view those tracks by file location then play after…
or in Tracks view, select to sort them by file location instead of my choices and see…
