I access a TIDAL playlist in AS 1.6.4. As soon as I click on a column to sort by (title, artist, album) AS crashes instantly.
Hello @TazLondon,
We don’t have this issue on our side. Are you using MacOS or Windows 10? Are you using the latest version of your OS?
macOS latest version 11.5.2.
I think I might the completely uninstall AS and reinstall it. Is there a post that documents the full procedure for reinstalling AS?
Thanks, Damien. By the way, there’s a typo in your link but I know what you meant.
I corrected it. If you still get this issue after doing the reinstall, we may need your database to reproduce your issue.
Hi Damien. I reinstalled 1.6.4 but AS still crashes. I did not have to enter any information after the reinstall. All of my old configuration was stored somewhere and reused. Is there a way to completely remove all traces of AS on macOS and start again from scratch?
So it may be database related. To go to it with the Finder:
-
Open its Go menu
-
Pressing the option (or alt) key, and maintain it pressed. This reveals the Library command in this Go menu.
-
Click on this Library command
-
In the Finder window that opens, navigate into Application Support, then Audirvana
-
You’ll find there the file AudirvanaDatabase.sqlite
Special Warning : When you delete the file AudirvanaDatabase.sqlite, you will lose all the Playlists and Favorites you created in Audirvana. However, you can back-up all those Playlists by exporting them before deleting the database file.
Can you please send us a copy of it at support@audirvana.com so we can take a look at it?
The file was 107MB. I have tried to send it via email.
