Have you rebooted after uninstalling Audio Hijack (it’s its InstantOn module that causes an issue)?

I have the same problem with the new Fiio X5 3rd generation and audirvana 3.04 . Everything was working fine with the Fiio X5 2nd generation and audirvana 2.6. I tried to clean and reinstall A3.04 but the problem is the same. It’s not possible to use it as USB DAC. I’m a bit frustrated as I sold my old Fiio X5
Just to check: do you have the option in the Audio System page: “Auto-detect MQA devices” NOT checked?
There are some DAC USB interfaces that can be triggered to crash when polled for MQA compatibility. So this option should NOT be checked unless you have a MQA DAC.

J’avais le même problème. Curieusement je pouvais ecouter de la musique sur Qobuz via audirvana, preuve que la liaison avec le DAC n’était pas en cause (Chord Mojo)
en revanche impossible d’écouter quoi que ce soit en FLAC, Apple losseless, DSD, … (mode integré à itune actif ou pas)
Du coup, je suis revenu (avec du mal, merci Time Machine … ) à la version 2.6.6 qui fonctionne sans problème en attendant que le problème soit résolu dans une future mise à jour.
Je n’ai pas retesté en 3.04. J’avoue que je suis devenu un peu frileux …

it looks like the end of Audirvana . 2.6.6 was the last Version that is working without problems
- Can you send me (by PM or email) the Debug Info (Audirvana Plus menu command) so I can check you don’t have any weird settings
- Can you try to drop a file directly from the Finder on the Play Queue, and play from there? This will bypass any library management. And issues like a lost link to your files (in case there are on an external volume that has changed?).
Still trying to understand what is different on your system and causes this issue…
