Audirvana Mac won't close without force close

Hi, I’m having some issues, and I have tried everything I can think of, so far, but I’m unable to fix it.

I recently transferred by library to a new NAS. The library transferred bit perfect from my APFS formatted external drive to the NAS, no issues there at all that I can see. The library scanned quickly and perfectly on the external drive. Also, from the external drive, and from the same folder within the folder tree that was transferred to the NAS, I restored all my artist photos that I had added (local->backup, which, all seemed to be working well.

A few weeks ago, I went through my entire library with MP3Tag and added metadata, cover art etc. Did a fresh scan and all was OK.

A couple of weeks later, started adding some more artist photos, and I backed them up to the NAS. I noticed that Audirvana would hang when I tried to close it and only a force close via activity monitor would close it. I also noticed that some, but not all of my artist photos were missing and had reverted back to cover art. So I changed them again, though ti may be a glitch from changing over to the NAS. But as I’m changing them, I noticed that they were changing, but then Audirvana would start a scan, and they would change back to the cover art.

I deleted the databases as that has worked before, and re-added everything, but it was still complaining about me changing artist photos.

I completely removed Audirvana and reinstalled and it was OK for a day or so, and then after I edited the tag on an album, it kept rescanning the same album over and over and I realised I couldn’t close Audirvana at all, without a force close. I can recreate this each time. As far as I can see, my library is in pretty good shape now. I feel like I may have done the artist photos the wrong way, by saving them in a folder of their own, but I could not find any info as to the best way to do this.

I am running MacOS 15.4.1 on MacBook M3 Pro.
Audirvana Studio 2.10.2 (21002)
Lyngdorf TDAI1120
Asustor Flashstor 6 Gen 1 NAS.

Is there a log that I could post to help find out what’s happening?

Thanks!

Hi @user1234567890,

Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘Start Log Session’ button; click on it and reproduce your issue. After you reproduce it, click 'Stop Log Session’ and send me the audirvana_studio.log file you can find by clicking the 'Open Log Folder’ button at [email protected]
