I will give you my currently experience with Audirvana Studio on Linux and iOS Remote App with Tidal streaming.
I tested and installed Audirvana Studio on my Debian 12 with new hardware and enough resources and tested Raspberry Pi 5 with 8GB RAM too.
Pro:
- sound quality is very good with SMSL M500 DAC
- remote app controlling in connection with Raspberry Pi is a good idea
Cons:
- the control over the remote app is okay, but not my favorit for the Debian
Linux desktop system, I would desire me a GUI - like Audirvana Studio for Windows
- the stability of remote app in connection with Linux system (Raspbian Bookworm
and Debian Bookworm) has no fun, multiple errors will displayed in the iOS remote App,
when I change/skip tracks from tidal streaming, Remote app reconnect to Linux system
or Audirvana service restart is often needed
Maybe has someone other experience with same constellation.
