Automatic synchronization during start?

Hello,

Mac OS 10.14.6 and Audirvana 3.5.44. “Rescan network folders at each start” is on but when I add new files to music folder and then start Audirvana nothing changes i.e. synchronization doesn’t work. So I have to synchronize manually by pushing Sync button in Preferences.

But if I add new files with Audirvana opened it’s OK and automatic synchronization works. Is it normal?

Oleg

Hello @oleg,

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Note: By clicking on the Debug Info button, Audirvana automatically copies all its content, all you have to do is paste it in response to this message

Please find Debug Info below:

Hello @oleg,

Can you check your database using the three commands in the Maintenance section of the preferences page?

Hello Damien,

I checked the database using three three commands.
‘Check Database integrity’ and ‘Rebuild the indexes’ we’re OK. ‘Complete defragmentation of the library database’ notified me that it can be a lengthy process but process was about one or two seconds. And after restarting of Audirvana nothing changed i.e. automatic synchronization doesn’t work but it works in manual mode.

It’s strange that it didn’t worked. I tried on my side with a folder already synced in Audirvana that point to a folder on Desktop, I closed Audirvana and added a track in it and i had the sync while i opened Audirvana again.

I tried to check database few times and only one time it worked. But only one time… Then automatic synchronization after Audirvana start became impossible again.

Hello @oleg,

have you tried to close Audirvana and remove your database to create a fresh database?

You will find it here:
/Users/oleg/Library/Application Support/Audirvana/AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2.sqlite

Hello Damien,

I created new database in way you recommended and automatic sync (during start) works at last.

Thank you for support.

Regards
Oleg
