Been 2 years, still can't remove plugins on Mac OS

A couple years ago I posted what is included below and it still holds true: I can’t remove selected plugins in the 4 Processing slots unless I destroy the Audirvana Studio preference files. I can change what plugins are used on each slot, but setting a slot to “No Effect” …has no effect and the previously used plugin just reappears.

not sure what is broken and where and why this continues. I have a lot of plugins both AU and VST.

Am I alone with this problem?

Audirvana Studio 2.11.0 (21100)

this bug appears now and again with Audio Units on the Mac. Even though I’ve selected “No Effect” in the slot under Processing, old AU’s that were previously in that plugin slot magically reappear when the player is used.

I had to throw away the SQLite database once before to fix this. Not a great solution as then I lose any customization I’ve done elsewhere in Studio.

Hi @phelme,

I’m wondering something about the number of AU you have, how many of them do you have?

Fair question. :grinning:

Lots. 200+ when you count all the individual AU’s. Most are demos.

Do you have an upper count you can handle or are expecting?

I’m wondering if when you try to select the very first one in the list, which is blank, do you end up with a different one, like the plugin you see in third or fourth place?
