Bug Tag management?

Hello,

I don’t understand how Audirvana handles metadata and tags
I have albums with mixed genre, I change to correct in Audirvana Windows, I resync and I have the same problem again.
Example
Tracks 1-10 genre pop, but track 11 is pop-rock-folk.
I change 11 to pop. Audirvana takes it into account but if I resync track 11 comes back pop-rock-folk.

But also for the other tags!!!

Why? and how to fix this bug?
Thanks
Davide

Hello

Sorry but that doesn’t answer the question and the bug
Because I edited the track as mentioned in your link
If I do the re-sync it comes back as before.

it is surely a locked file (drm protected, Apple downloaded) or on an .iso or
something like a .dff that can’t retain tags ??

On my side, when i hit save button, it is saved in the file for sure…

Hello
Thanks

Not DFF or DSD, but flac, and no DRM protection.

When I modify the track concerned, Audirvana saves it, no warning message and no error.
But when I resynchronize the DD or the album, the track that I had modified comes back as before.
In Windows and in the ID Tag and Details property panel, the modification is there. But in Audirvana after resynchronizing the track comes back as before

so, where is that song… computer, external hard drive…

NAS Synology
Hard disk DRIVE.

maybe something with the NAS? i don’t use that.
only USB attach hard drives to Mac Mini…

It’s the same with the USB DD connected to my Gentoplayer Linux audio server PC…

I’m going to test the USB DD on the Windows PC…but it’s quite weird

maybe it is Linux not ready? can’t help on Linux
