Can't Play Hi Res AAC Radios

Hello everybody. Hope you are doing well.

I switched to Linux as my main and only OS from about a month. All is almost good, the sq is very good. Started with Linux Mint LTS, now I am with Debian. BUT. My problem is as I wrote in the subject. Only AAC radios with low bitrate can play (64). Tried to install all the codecs possible and impossible. Do you have this problem? And if not please tell me what to do. What distro are you using if don’t have this problem? Thank you!

Hi @DGrigorescu,

Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see a ‘Start Log Session’ button; click on it and reproduce your issue. After you reproduce it, click 'Stop Log Session’ and post the logs you can find by clicking the 'Open Log Folder’ button.

Thank you Antoine. It seems sometimes works but after a very long tine (few minutes). Will try to create the logs as you suggested and post them.

No log îs created. Found some old logs not related and deleted them. The following page îs opened when click “View log”:

The old logs deleted by me were located in ./home/DGrigorescu/.local/share/audirvana (hidden)

For few days I use Liquorix kernel but this has nothing to do, I have this probleme for the beginning of Linux journey. When I was in Windows (same hardware) didn’t have this probleme but some MP3 radios wich did not work now works. But now I have the aac radios probleme. Have an inLine ESS Dac 32/384 DSD 64/128 connected with a short usb cable. No probleme with other formats. Another interesting thing: I have some audio books low res mp3s in my PC. With Windows the files were truncated (last few seconds). With Linux the problem is gone, all îs ok (usb sata hdd).
