Connection problems newby

So my Qobuz app works fine on my windows 11 Dell laptop via usb to my Schiit dac/amp to my headphones. All good…BUT I downloaded Audirvana and connected Qobuz to it and the music only comes out of the laptop speakers! The only output recognized is the computer speakers and not the schiit unison dac/amp. Any idea what the problem is?
A firewall issue? Help!

  1. In the upper right corner of Audirvana, click the icon that looks like 3 horizontal sliders
  2. In the ‘OUTPUT DEVICE’ section on the screen click the highlighted device
  3. Select the device you want Audirvana to use

Thanks Glen! I’ll give it a shot tonight. I may have tried that last night and it’s possible that a firewall blocked my Schiit dac/amp but I’ll check again! Thanks much!

I hate software firewalls for that very reason. I’ve got lots of client-server stuff going on in my home network, and software firewalls are endlessly blocking/alerting me to all the activity unless I just shut them off. I try to do a nice job of security with my hardware firewall (good strong router passwords, for example) instead.
