is there any way to make the “single track / album cover” view display the year and/or customize that view? i don’t see options in the settings

Can you please send a screenshot of the view you are talking about?
sorry i’m not on the same computer right now but it’s the simplified track view showing only the album cover, you can press the button above the remaining track time on the mainview layout to switch to it
i would love to be able to see the waveform and more tag details like the year, if possible
