I think you’ll have issues about synchronization… it could be better to use multichannel dacs like exasound or minidsp …
Yeah, Stefano, a multichannel dac would be fine. But, in my humble opinion, such a dac is essencial only if you want a full multichannel (eg. 5.1 or 7.1) system. It’s not uncommon finding people that want a 2.1 or 4.0 (my case) system.
Regarding synchronization, I don’t find it a problem since Roon seems to be able to do that. I guess it uses the clock of one of the dacs for that. But I’m not sure.
