Delay when switching song

I have a 3-4 second delay when I switch to a new song, it’s quite annoying, is this normal?
I also have Roon and there it is much faster and smoother when switching songs.

Do you have this issue only when you try to play to your ONKYO device?

Yes only with the Onkyo. When I connect my Fiio Q3 for my headphones it works fine.

Can you go in your device setting in Audirvāna Studio and enable “Do not use Raw PCM stream”?

No that did not help at all. Very strange but if I connect with a toslink from my MacBook to the Onkyo then everything works fine also. It’s only when I connect Audirvana through the ethernet when it’s problem shows up

My problem is that Audirvana Studio freezes for 2-3 seconds when i change songs.

If i change my songs with these two options (red arrows in the picture below) there are a delay/freeze for 2-3 seconds in the interchange.

If i change my songs with this option (green arrow in the picture below) there are none/minor delay/freeze.

@Antoine Any idea what’s going on with my ethernet problem?
