new user using trial version 3.5.43. Windows 10 Pro; Dell Latitude E7240; 16gb ram. PS Audio Sprout DAC; Forest USB Type A/B cable;
When I connect the USB to the Dell I see “device not connected”. Audirvarna only plays through the laptop speakers. At my desk the Logitech speaker set up works via the 3.5mm connector. Note that prior to Audivarna I was using Media Monkey which played to the Sprout just fine. I tried WASAPI and ASIO. What am I doing wrong?

FIXED! The security firewall was blocking it. enabled audirvarna for output and working fine now. found this fix while continuing to search the forum.
