Don't Know If This Is Just Me Or for Anyone

Hi @Antoine -

Installing on Xubuntu (Ubuntu with XFCE), I first had to create the /home/audirvana/.config/audirvana and /home/audirvana/.local/share/audirvana directories and give ownership of these to the audirvana user before the audirvanaStudio service would start.

I wanted to note this to determine whether it could happen for anyone installing for the first time rather than upgrading (I did a clean install, removing all Audirvana files and the audirvana user), or if it was just something I personally had misconfigured in Xubuntu.

When did you encounter this problem, Jud? I didn’t have to perform these actions in Linux Mint. Afaik Mint is based on Ubuntu…

Just within the last week or so, when I was researching the other bug and eliminated all Audirvana directories and files from all my OSs before installing to determine whether it might be preserved preferences causing the issue (it wasn’t).

Prior to that I didn’t experience the need to take these extra steps when installing on Ubuntu, but I hadn’t done a completely fresh install in a long while either.
