I’m using Audirvana 3.5.44 under the free trial
I’m using a dac that can not decode DSD so I want Audirvana to convert DSD to PCM. In Audirvana I have set the active device to “no dsd”. Audirvana now plays red book recordings fine but I get silence when I try to play DSD. What am I doing wrong?
I see now, I had the maximum pcm rate too high. Once set it lower it worked properly
Wow, now when I play DSD files the music plays and then I am getting loud, short (1-2 seconds) bursts of static and then the music resumes. Any ideas?
Hi, It may be linked to the sampling rate change.
Have you enabled the renderer parameter which forces silence when changing the sampling rate ?

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info”? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info
