I’m not sure if this topic was covered, but I’m playing PCM multichannel audio successfully through Studio except for the files that have been formatted with DTS audio which play back with white noise. I’m running Studio on a MacBook Pro, HDMI out to my amp. Anyone know what’s happening? Is studio not compatible with DTS?

Multi-channel DTS recordings require a DTS decoder for playback… Audirvana does not support DTS multi-channel decoding or 2-channel PCM stereo extraction for playback… You must extract the 2-channel PCM encoded signal from the disc yourself if you want to listen at all… or convert the 5.1 DTS files to 5.1 PCM files… But I am not sure how the DTS metadata is handled in the context of extracted DTS files converted to raw PCM.
