You need a convolver host like the Accurate Sound ‘Hang Loose Convolver’ to implement these… as @Ddude003 has already described…
This includes AU plug-in architecture.

1 - REW will create filters for the Apple AU N-Band EQ plugin which you seem to already have on your list, although this is not a convolution engine…
If you want to use a Convolver for DRC you will have to find one and install it along with the rest of those VST and/or AU plugins…
2 - I don’t know about and I don’t have that problem… Maybe network/UPnP related?
