Error Loading Track

Hi,
I am new to Audirvana and just installed a trial license.

Everything works fine, except playing Tidal MQA files from Norah Jones.
My set-up: imac with Audirvana → Hegel H190 via upnp.

Playing MQA files in general works fine to the Hegel which is set as “non MQA”. However, when playing Norah Jones MQA files, I get “error loading track” when trying to play the first song. Strangely enough playing the second track and the following tracks work fine.
Also playing to another upnp renderer, or using the imac internal output work fine, also for the first song.

I am very confused by this.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hello @Jans, with which song did you have this issue? I would like to reproduce your issue on my side.

I got it with several tracks of Norah Jones, eg first song “My heart is full”, or “Wish I could” on “Not Too Late”. The problem occurs with the MQA version, not the regular version. Strangely enough, the second track on this Albums do play correctly. Very strange

I also got is with Jamie Cullum. See screen shot.

Can you send me a copy of the “Debug Info” while you are connected to your Hegel? You can get it in Audirvana Settings>General>Debug Info

Update: I tried it from a different iBook. Same result. upnp shows same behaviour. USB works as expected

Solved: limiting the max. PCM Rate for the H190 did the trick. It still feels as a workaround to me, but at least, I can now use Tidal in Audirvana without running into trouble!
