Error Starting device playback - Another User

All of a sudden Studio started throwing this error. I searched on the forum and based upon that, I disabled upsampling Also disabled Sys Optimizer, no mas.
This started happening after I added Qobuz trial acct. Later I removed that Quobuz, still issue persists.
Error happens even on Radio(Streaming)

Turning the option On fixed the problem. When I turned it off, the error returned.

What does this mean? Audirvana and my Amp were all working fine, till I tried Quobuz.

Seems like many UPNP devices have a wonky implementation, this seems to allow them to perform properly.

Got it.
But it does not explain why it was working for so long and right after Qobuz this became an issue.
Was it because this setting Audirvana turned it off when I played Qobuz files , or Qobuz somehow screwed up my amps UPnP?

I did see that you mentioned that but I have no idea why it could of changed things around in your settings, just know that it is an issue that I’ve had to deal with as well when playing to Ethernet devices vs usb DAC

I cannot figure out why Audirvana needs disable RAW PCM Streams for playing MP3 files. Is this happening for others?
Is this Hegel issue or Something else in Audirvana?

Hi @VSHegel,

Even if you try to play a mp3 track through our software over UPnP, it will end up being played on your device as a Raw Pcm stream so the file track is not alterated during the process.

This means if your device can’t play raw pcm stream properly, you will need to activate this option and the track will be sent as WAV since we again do not want to alterate the file track during the playing process.

I checked with Hegel, and they referred me to Audirvana Support.
I am not sure at this point, if this is a Hegel issue or Audirvana.

I’m in contact with Hegel and will check this thing with the software dev directly. In the meantime, avoid headache and leave the option enabled
