Error while playing Tidal MQA - iFi Hip USB DAC

Audirvana pops an error message while playing Tidal MQA (windows 10) “Audirvana has exited unexpectedly”
This happens when I’m connected with the iFi Hip DAC (WASAPI)
No issue when connected with the Chord Mojo DAC

Please advice
Thanks

Exactly the same issue occurs on my system. (Win 10 + ifi iOne DAC (WASABI))

Every advice is highly appreciated. This is a no go for purchasing Audirvana.

Thanks

Wolfgang

Update: Audirvana plays fine on Win 10 + iFi iOne DAC on ASIO.

Thanks

Wolfgang

Thanks

Audirvana plays Tidal FLAC via the iFi Hip DAC, very good. The only issue is with Tidal MQA and this iFi DAC.
I can only choose the iFi with WASAPI. The source is not recognized with ASIO.

As I did mention with the Chord Mojo DAC everything is OK

Did you install the driver?

https://ifi-audio.com/firmware/windows-usb-2-0-drivers/

Yes. I did install (successfully) the newer driver “iFi (by AMR) HD USB Audio Driver 3.2.exe” from the iFi site

The only issue I had with the installation is that I cannot locate where was it installed on my C:\ drive

OK. Problem resolved.

It seems that I had an issue with “iFi (by AMR) HD USB Audio Driver 3.2.exe”
After installing “iFi (by AMR) HD USB Audio Driver 2.26.exe”, I can play Tidal MQA with the iFi. It is defi9ned as ASIO now.

Thanks for the prompt support.
