I just installed Origin 2.6.1 on a MacBook Pro running OS 15.2. I disconnected my account from my old MacBook; it ran just fine there. I can’t add anything to the library. Ideas?
P.S. I can play tracks one at a time by using the Finder to open them in Origin. For now, that’s what I’m doing. My previous MacBook Pro, on which I didn’t have this problem, was running OS 11.7.1. But now I get the error message “Fatal Error adding folder to watch list,” no matter what I try.
In Macos Security and Privacy settings
have you gave access to Audirvana in files and folders?
Yes. In Security and Privacy, under Full Disk Access, Audirvana Origin is listed and has the slider switched on. Under Files and Folders, Origin is shown as having Full Disk Access, but the setting is grayed out and can’t be changed from that screen.
I toggled the Full Disk Access slider off and on, but it didn’t help.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but I still get the same error. Anyone?
EDIT. A workaround is to open all tracks of an album in Origin from the Finder. Origin will then play them in order. This is what I’m doing now, but I’d rather use the library.
Hi @RZangpo2,
Is the folder you are trying to add from an external Hard Drive?
Yes, and I think I solved my own problem. I trashed the AudirvanaDatabase.sqlite file and now the library seems to be syncing normally.
