Since buying the .13 ver. i have had to forced the program to quit a dozen times in 2 days. There are BIG problems.

I am reposting cause I am having a issues with tracks not playing along with maintenance functions in the software. 4 forced quits in a hour.
I have had a couple of albums (hi-res) that don’t play a track or two. Usually in the number 2-3 track. The rest play fine. (error starting device playback)
I had tried to re-sync the DB (s) on the NAS and the program locks up and requires a forced quit.
I tried to run a defrag with the same results.
I rebooted the Hegel to insure that end of the equation was okay.
I am wondering if loading the updated program over the trial ver. is creating problems. ?

Are you running a Mac Mini headless? Has Audirvana synchronized with all of your library files?
- Why would you allow gain beyond 0dB? You may be overloading your DAC…
Things to examine…
If making changes does not solve the issue… You may want to contact Hegel regarding this behavior…
The playback issues are definitely an Audirvana software issue. I Can play same album on brand X without any problems.
I suspect the rest of the database maintenance software issues I have tried to preform are related in some fashion.
I guess you have to ask yourself why a large number of other macOS platform/Audirvana users are not experiencing this behavior under similar conditions.
Don’t know and I don’t concern myself what others may or may not be experiencing.
I do read the posts in order to gain knowledge if appropriate.
What I do know is the program is not working correctly.
e.g. Won’t re-sync DB’s. Won’t delete DB’s. Won’t defrag DB’s. Won’t play certain tracks and/or albums. It locks up and the spinning wheel of death appears. Force quit required.
These other settings you suggested I review I need reference material.
Apple hide the Home Folder in User Library at some time depending on OS System… When you have clicked your Home Folder, and cannot see the Library Folder in there, just do a ‘‘cmd J’’ to show the folder settings preferences and see at the bottom… click Show Library Folder and then you’ll have access to the rest forever.
Start again…
Go in Audirvana preferences panel and remove your music folder(s) there
(all the folder(s) of music you have there) delete them with minus sign.
Close Audirvana.
Go to User… Home Folder… Library… Applications Support… Audirvana Folder… Trash All the files in that folder (that is your database of music, back it up! or not) AudirvanaDatabase.sqlite is for Studio, but remove others if you have old version of .sqlite… for Studio not Starting to convert them at first launch.
Go to User… Home Folder… Library… Preferences…
trash com.audirvana.Audirvana-Studio.plist in that folder
(those are Audirvana Studio software preferences, back them up or not).
Restart Mac.
Re add your music folders (maybe one by one… like that you can see if it bugs somewhere before testing all your music at once).
Edited… if it doesn’t bug on first folder add, then close Audirvana and copy the database somewhere as a good 1 folder backup 
and repeat often…

I never had issues like this before upgrading.
I would like for Support to step in and provide specific detailed steps to do a complete uninstall, all files and then I will do a clean install.

Home folder is a windows term and doesn’t correlate with a Mac M1 (Arm) platform. CMD J is windows syntex.
In a Mac system the root directory would fall under Macintosh HD. In order to see or remove hidden files of an application I first would need to reference a MAC OS.

The steps given to you are specifically for the Mac.
@RunHomeSlow is talking about a Mac here and it does correlate with MacOS. Home folder is not a specific Windows term. In fact in Windows the term ‘Home folder’ is not common. In Windows there is a ‘User folder’ but there is no ‘Home folder’ in the user folder.
No, CMD-J is Mac syntax. Windows PCs do not have a CMD key. In Windows the CTRL key is used for keyboard shortcuts.
Just follow the steps @RunHomeSlow (and @Antoine from support confirmed) gave you for your Mac. These same steps have helped a lot of other Mac users before on this forum.

There is not a Home folder to speak of. (start of my confusion)
It directs you to the name of the users only, at least on this OS. 14.6.1.
Finder-Go-Home-User Log-in name-CMD J. Or Macintoch-Users-User log-in name-CMD J.

I have tried to deleted the files in the program (app) and it doesn’t seem to be working.
The 16 bit file has been in the delete cue for over 40 minutes.
Adding any additionally tasks to the program locks it up and a forced quit is required.
Ok then, try in reverse,
close Audirvāna
and go first and delete the database .sqlite file,
After, restart Mac,
restart Audirvāna,
it should try to reload all your folders by default, let it go and wait, then see
