In short: I found Music app on Sequoia 15.4 beta2 and beta3 won’t play music with Audirvana Origin’s “Music Integrated Mode (Legacy)” at all. The legacy mode had worked nicely until Sequota 15.4 beta1.
Previously, when I double-click the music track (i.e. local file) on Music app, Audirvana Origin starts playing the track. But since Sequoia 15.4 beta 2, Audirvana Origin won’t respond at all, while Music app playing music (with completely muted).
This happens with my Mac Studio M1 Max, Audirvana Origin 2.5.21. Re-installing the Audirvana Origin won’t fix. I confirmed that this also happens with my MacBook Pro Intel (MacBookPro16,1) with Audirvana 3.5.50.
I know it’s an issue with non-final versions of macOS, but I also think it may be worth letting the developers know this somehow, just in case there are some persistent changes made on the macOS / Music app side, particularly around APIs, Automation schemes, etc., before the final version of Sequoia 15.4 is out within weeks.
Of course, I do hope that this is just a bug in the non-final versions of macOS.

Yes, I know – it’s a beta version. And I hope this bug will be fixed (or technical background of the changes will be clarified by Apple).
Make sure you file a bug report using Feedback Assistant in the beta otherwise Apple may not know about it to fix it.

Sequoia 15.4 beta 4, which was released just now, won’t fix the issue.
I already filed the bug report using Feedback Assistant, asking them to identify if it is an unexpected behavior or if it is a technical change made to Music app and/or macOS.

After investigating your feedback, we have determined the behavior you reported will no longer be supported and therefore has been removed.
At least, now you know how to make it work again… revert and stay there

If I recall what Apple is telling you, updating to 15.4 would break the Music Integrated feature.

Yes, at least it works with Sequoia 15.3 and 15.4 beta1.
