Having network issues on macOS Sequoia 15.2?

Have you tried disabling “Limit IP Address Tracking” yet?

This operation can be disabled here: System Settings → Network → Ethernet(and/or WI-FI) → “(Details)”

If disabling this function solves your network connection behavior or not… please provide your insights here.

Turning off this option does NOT solve the local network access permissions issue in Sequoia for me. Same issue occures irrespective of this setting.

No difference. Not sure if I mentioned the UPnP works fine with MinimServer and Mosaic?

As stated in the manual.

The direction in the manual to use the Mosaic app may indicate some degree of proprietary implementation, but I can’t be sure of that. Minimserver is not necessary and should not be used with Audirvana, as Audirvana itself acts as what’s known as an “ad hoc” UPnP server and control point.

Thanks, I understand about mini server. Im using it as Im not having success getting Audrivana up and running with my Rossini and the UPnP yet

I realize this is a different issue, but ever since I upgraded my Macbook pro to Sequoia 15 while playing a track the music randomly stops playing and the computer crashes and shuts down. I have to reboot and start over. Has anyone else had this issue.

Not seen stops and crashes just UPnP endpoints missing after a reboot.

In your case I would make sure system settings/network, wifi network has the private WiFi setting set to “fixed” not “rotating” addresses. I could imagine that there would be an issue if macOS rotated the MAC address of your Mac during playback. Having rotating MAC addresses has created issues for users of other playback software judging by some forum posts. macOS sets the setting to rotating normally when using a public WiFi hotspot but Sequoia can be a bit unpredictable when it comes to networking issues.

Have you updated to macOS 15.3?
More information is needed for folks to be able to provide insights into your experience (playback set-up, network set-up, etc…)
