How to relocate tracks with a new sdd

Hi, I’m using 3.5.50 on mac os Monterey. I’m very happy but since my ssd crash i lost my library. Luckily i have a copy (or save) of my music directories on an another ssd. But audirvana can’t find the original tracks. Instead, i have everything in double. Luckily i duplicate AudirvanaPlusDatabaseV2.sqlite before connecting the new ssd so i can come back to my file without having them in double. But still not connected to the new ssd. What should i do?

I’m also using Native Instrument Traktor Pro 3 and i didn’t have any problem to relocate all my 10 years library with the new sdd.

Welcome…

Have you trashed your previously synchronized library folder(s) and resynchronized Audirvana with the library folder(s) on your new SSD?.. This is done here: Settings–> Local–> Add Music to my Audirvana Local Library

Thanks but with this way, i’ll loose my playlists. The new ssd don’t have the same name and directory (just before reaching the music directory where inside, everything is like the previous ssd).

Put your last .sqlite file that as no double in it… Don’t click nothing or play something, right click a playlist and export it to a new folder that you Will keep forever as a playlists backup.

You have 123 playlists, export them 123 Times, yes it is bad.

Then when done, reload your music folder with new SSD after it as sync and no double, close Audirvāna and save the new .sqlite elsewhere.

Reopen Audirvāna and add all your saved playlists in one Time (select all in that Open window and import them all. If all good again, close Audirvāna and copy again that .sqlite somewhere as a new good backup

In Audirvana all the tracks are grey because unavailable. I create a folder to export playlists and i tried several times to export but nothing appear.

Hi @osc32, are you doing to this to do the export?

Surely an “Export PlaylistS” ie ALL playlists, is in order?

That’s more playlists than I have albums…-

Yes, this is what i do

Ok, when you open the file, what path do you see? Are you able to locate the files?

which file ?

The playlist you export, its a M3u file you can open on your computer with a text editor.

There is no file. That’s the problem

I’m deeply sorry for not understanding what you described. You can’t export the playlists if the tracks are greyed, hence your issue.

Can you email me at [email protected] so I can send you a link to your database file?
