HQPlayer Integration without UPNP

Today the information came that JPLAY for IOS now has a direct interface with HQPlayer. The connection goes no longer via UPNP but via a direct interface.

I use the communication from Audirvana to HQPlayer Embedded via UPNP to, for example, use the very good integration of EQ settings in HQPlayer and the many upsampling options, especially for DSD. With direct communication via an API, HQPlayer Desktop would also be usable.

JPLAY still needs UPNP to integrate a music library. This is where I see a big advantage of Audirvana.

Can the direct connection of HQPlayer from Audirvana be realized? This results in many advantages for HQplayer users, not least the integration of the display of HQPlayer filters and modulators.

Welcome…

Why don’t you just use HQPlayer if you are so enamored with it?

Theoretically, you could use Blue Cat Audio’s “Connector” between the two applications or use a different computer as a DSP server… However, I don’t know if this will handle 1-bit files.
