IFI Zen DAC 3 DSD512 issue

I’ve just bought and received the IFI Zen DAC 3.

I noticed Audirvana doesn’t deem it able to do DSD512.
What gives?

Not an expert on windows but you are using Kernel Streaming which only supports DSD over DOP (your setting appears to be DOP1.1) this I think limits you to DSD256. If you install the ASIO driver for your device and play over ASIO then you can play native DSD which will facilitate the max capability of your DAC at DSD512

That worked, thanks:=)

Welcome… @Peter_Andersen

Regarding DoP playback…
Note the Bold highlighted sample-rate support for your DAC…
The reason you cannot play 22.4MHz (DSD512) via DoP 1.1 is because the DAC supports up-to the DoP PCM carrier sample-rate for 11.2MHZ (DSD256) which is 705.6kHz…
The DoP 1.1 PCM carrier sample-rate for (22.4MHz) DSD512 is 1411.2kHz.
