Installation on GentoPlayer 8.80

Hello,

I want to install AS on GP 8.80. After a scratch install of GP 8.80, I did GP-update, selected the DAC, set the profile and uninstalled/disabled unnecessary audio and WiFi software.
Attempting to install AS or AO results in afailure with the message that the file is the wrong size. Strange, before downloading can clearly see the expected size, which is identical after downloading, while GP expects a different one. I tried to install aPlayer and Lyrion Music Server - no problem.

Can anyone know what this is about?

I think this is related to the release of Audirvana Studio 2.9.2.

I tried also to install Audirvana Studio to a new Gentoo Player instance today and got the same error. When viewing the messages which are shown during installation there I saw that version 2.9.2 of Audirvana Studio is downloaded but Gentoo Player referes to version 2.9.0 when doing the checksum check.

I think Gentoo Player, the sources for Audirvana Studio, the module for the installation, or whatever has to be updated to work with the new Audirvana Studio release to make the installation work again.

I got a reply from GP support. They improved something because AS is now installed.

Yes, it also worked here. Had to update the scripts and after that I was able to install Audirvana Studio via the web interface.
