Intel NUC and Audirvana Remote on iOS

Hello,

I cannot get Audirvana to connect to my NUC. I do see when I close Audirvana on the NUC that the selection to connect to the host disappears. SO the app is seeing the computer it is just failing connecting. I have disabled the windows firewall altogether. In addition verified both devices are on the same wifi network. Please advise. My friend is experiencing the same thing at his house with a Mac mini and a ipad. He tried two different routers, same thing.

Here is a link to a video of what shows on the ipad when I try and connect.

Do you mean that you can not connect your remote app to Audirvana Studio 1.4.5??

The current remote app only works on Audirvana 3.5 and not on Audirvana Studio. The remote app for 1.4.5. (the version you are trying to connect to) is not out yet. There are lots of complaints on this forum about it. Just search for ‘audirvana studio remote’ in this forum.

According to official postings it should be out this week, but it seems to be delayed.
The only thing you can do is wait for the new remote app…

I see. I got the email it was coming out and then searched the app store and made the wrong assumption. Thanks for the clarification!

Try disabling “rescan network folders at each start” then most likely you will be able to connect the remote, if in this condition with the “rescan …” function disabled there is still no connection try to restart the PC and remote app and then it is highly likely that it will work.
