With Devialet shifting to DOS2 you seem to be one of the best solutions going forward - a really good fit for their Phantom Premier line of speakers. You provide two things that a lot of Phantom users really want:
Room correction (by allowing add-ins) - Internet Radio
Internet Radio was present in the old devialet OS and app - and is the single thing that is really missed from this. If you can provide a nice Internet Radio experience - I think you’ll get a line of Phantom users adopting Audirvana.
I am a great fan of Audirvana but I also use Roon because of the excellent streaming high quality music radio it provides. Even Sonos has introduced internet radio recently. Please keep up the high level of service provided by Audirvana and provide such an option.
Yes, please add support for internet radio. Most other apps that support quality streaming also do radio, and it would add a lot to Audirvana to have this ability too.
today audirvana presents itself as one of the most complete players and the best sound … decided for some time to take the license … however in the living room to please the family and listen to the webradio use daphile … it would be perfect to also have the webradio on audirvana and give it an edge
Surely its more than user votes that keep Internet Radio out of Audirvana. Perhaps Qobuz/Tidal see Internet radio as a competing force and don’t want it implemented. The feature itself is simple as even the most basic free player has the ability to stream via URL.
