iTunes and local folder version displayed

I am using Studio on an M1 Mac mini running Sonoma.

Studio crashed and on reopening it my library was no longer showing, nor were Qobuz or HRA Stream.

I managed to add the streaming services back.

I then added my own music folder in local settings and synced. There was no library showing. When I now search in my own library it is showing 2 of every album.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Thanks

Do you have a Time Machine backup from before the crash?

Yes I do

Do you have playlist that you need to keep? If so you need to retrieve your sqlite file from your backup (unless you have a database backup) Delete your existing (bad) sqlite and replace it with your backup version.
If you’re not worried about your playlist you can navigate to your library database location and delete the sqlite file and Audirvana will create a new one upon your next application launch.
You can see your library database location in the settings.

Hi @JRF,

Can you send us the crash generated by Audirvāna Studio at [email protected]? You can find it under the Console app of MacOS.

Have sent a report

Also found the SQLite file and deleted it. Re added the source and syncing.

Now out for the day so will report later

Thanks, I didn’t have any playlists I needed to keep so did remove the sqlite file and have resented and now seems to be fine.

Thanks for the help

An update and an apology.

After deleting the Sqlite although there was only one version of the album each album had 2 copies of the song in it.

Deleted whole app and had same issue.

Deleted again and realised my error:

I was syncing with my iTunes account as well as adding the folder for the music therefore duplicating it all!

Definitely no apologies necessary, on the plus side now you know how to navigate your library file. You do now have a proper backup?, hint, hint

Thanks. Yes, backed up
