Launching Audirvana Studio 1.7.2 invokes account login!

Upon launch of Audirvana Studio 1.7.2, I am now having to log into my account to open the application… What is going on??? Is this new procedure???
I have reinstalled 1.7.2 and this behavior does not change…

Hello @Agoldnear,

Have you tried to disconnect and reconnect your account from Studio? You need to go in settings under My account section to do this.

Thanks Antoine, that worked… :+1:

What is the reason for this behavior occurring suddenly?

Had that too.

Since how much time you are using Studio on the same device?

I’m using the same computer since first purchasing Audirvana and subscribing to Audirvana Studio… The only changes have been macOS updates and macOS upgrades.

The update may have changed the GUID of your device in some way, please come back to me if it occurs again.

All updates and upgrades have been incremental and chronological as released… MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016), 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7… Upgraded recently to macOS version 12.0.1 (21A559).

I will take a closer look at what is going on as we had other reports about this issue for MacOS.

Can you elaborate on the version you directed me to, because, as I stated in my initial follow-up response, disconnecting and reconnecting seems to have solved my issue of having to sign-in every time AS is launched… Is the change necessary at this point? Otherwise, I’m happy to give this version a try if you guys need more reference points.

It’s not necessary, this version have an updated version of the login mechanism and if you still do not have the issue after installing the version, it’s still worth knowing it.
