Hi @Antoine or someone with the answer ;-).
I am a Linux user of Audirvana Studio on Ubuntu server.
I have two questions:
I have a Lumin U2 connected via UPnP and often Audirvana stop at the end of a track. No log append when this event occure. In windows, it is possible to activate a debug mode to help the debug. How to activate this mode on Linux?
Last week, Audirvana crashed and Linux produced a core-dump of the app. I would like to send this dump to help Audirvana team debug. Where I can find this file sous Linux?
It’s an ongoing issue introduced with Lumin’s latest firmware; they are dealing with it at the time we speak.
Can you go into the Audirvāna settings and in the My Account section? You will see an 'Open Log Folder’ button you need to click on and send us the whole log at [email protected]
If I’m not wrong, Linux doesn’t have a GUI. As you said it in the other thread, I will could find this log in the .local folder.
Where memory dump file of th the app is located?
Good to know that this problems are related to the newest Lumin firmware. I do also use an U1 and have also the problem that switching to the next track does not work some times.
Because I migrated my Linux box from Debian to Gentoo Player the same time where the newest Lumin firmware was released and Audirvana has also been update to version 2.9.2 I was not sure if the problem is related to the new Linux system, the new firmware or Audirvana 2.9.2. Additionaly also the Linux system runs on a new hardware…
On the other hand I have the same problem with a renderer from MSB which is integrated into my DAC. This renderer worked perfectly before I switched to Gentoo Player or before using Audirvana 2.9.2 or used the new hardware for my Linux system.
I can see many failed http request in the Audirvana log, but I am not sure if they were there before with Audirvana 2.9.0. I am using Qobuz and Tidal, the failed requests are there with both streaming services. I will try to downgrade to Audirvana 2.9.0 on Gentoo Player or reinstall the system with Debian to see if the problems are related to my Linux system or Audirvana or the new hardware.
There are just to many variables currently and one of them makes my system very unstable and I have to find the cause and because I have the problem that sometimes switching to the next track does not work also with my MSB renderer I am nut sure it is really related to the Lumin firmware.
