Linux

Hi. Trying to install, yes, install audirvana on Linux mint. Have downloaded and the next stage appears to be install package but all I get is something along the lines of same package exists with no option to do anything else. The audirvana/Linux instructions for installing package are far too complex for me to follow so how I got as far as the same package exists info I really don’t know. Is it really this complicated? Windows was so easy but am using windows 10 on an old dell laptop which was great to start with but is now so slow and sluggish on audirvana am trying something else but obviously to no avail. Any help out there

Hi Andy, I’ve succeeded (also Linux Mint on an old Dell laptop) with the help of ChatGPT. It will provide a step by step instruction. So I would certainly recommend that.

Can you check if you can find Audirvāna in the location folder Opt

You should see this:

When you click the Audirvāna folder then it should show the folder Studio:

And then:

When you click the icon with the wheel named Audirvāna Studio it should start Audirvāna.

When you have done that, the Audirvāna Remote app should then see the laptop…
