I’m running Origin v2.3.4 on a Mac.
Everything is up-to-date.
In the Settings UI I always see this ‘Loading…’ message (see image)
Can anyone tell me why? Or if it matters?

It simply is called ‘Loading / Decoding’ because this setting is about loading and decoding. It seems that on your screen there is not enough room for the whole title and therefore it is only displaying the word ‘loading’ with three dots (…) after it.
On my screen (Windows PC) it looks like this all the time:
I would not worry about it, because it is actually not loading, but simply not showing the whole title on your computer. What kind of screen resolution are you using on your computer?
Ahh…ok, thanks for getting back to me
I can not find a minimum screen resolution in the system requirements for Audirvana but 1280x1024 is a little small for current standards. 1920x1080 is (in my experience) a reasonable minimum for Audirvana. In your case it still works, but some text truncation can be expected.
Sorry…I wasn’t paying attention to what I was doing. I am on a resolution of 1920x1080.
Here’s a screen grab.
On my (Windows) computer the resolution is 1920x1080 too and the scaling is 100%.
On my screen everything is visible in Audirvana. I can see on your Mac that the default for your system is 1280x1024. On my system the default is 1920x1080. I suspect the different scaling behaviour on your Mac vs Windows has something to do with it. I am not a Mac expert, so maybe someone on this forum with a Mac can chime in?
In any case, I would not worry too much about it. It is just a cosmetic/scaling issue and does not impair the functionality of the setting.
It’s just macOS UI scaling issue. It’s the same on my MacBook Pro screen running at any resolution up to 2056x1329 or my Pro XDR display running at anything up to the full 6k resolution. No matter the resolution I always get “loading…”
Hi @Djm1960, I’m not really sure about that. I think it’s the box in the software for displaying text that is too small since using a HP Elitebook 14" on W11, I do have all of the text displayed
We will need to fix it.
Thanks @Djm1960 and @AndyLubke I appreciate the help.
@Antoine it’s good to know that it’s a bug not a feature I’m happy to test a fix if that helps.
