Loosing connection

Every hour i get a message on my mac mini that the connection has bin lost and i have to login again.

This is really keeping me from subscribing
I dont have any such troubles like that with roon which also is able to do dsd 512 upsampling without killing my processor.

Is there any help?
I preffer audivarnas sound!

I run a Mac mini late 2012
i5, 16gb ram, 500gb ssd and 120 gb ssd
its wired over lan and feeding my Gustard r26 via upnp.

in audivarna system optimizer is enabled.

Can you disconnect and then reconnect your account? To do this you need to go to Audirvāna settings, My Account section.

I extended your trial. Since the disconnect/reconnect didn’t work, it seems that you may have a damaged preferences file.
To reset it, open the Terminal application, and enter the following command:

defaults delete com.audirvana.Audirvana-Studio

I think it worked now.

I used to run that 2012 mac mini…I had artifacts upsampling. It just doesn’t have the horsepower. Upgraded to a 2018 mini and all that went away.

the biggest problem is that I always get kicked out of audivarna even without upsampling

hmmm is your computer closing its network / ethernet connection in a low power mode?

I run a program called Amphetamine. It keeps my mac from going to “sleep”.

that fact this is happening every hour may not be a coincidence. It might be the energy saver is spinning down your disk and closing the network connection. remember, its headless so without a mouse or keyboard it will go to sleep.

actually I guess I’m assuming its headless but regardless, without moving the mouse or an entry on the keyboard your mac will go to low power even if its playing music.

Try amphetamine. set it to Indefinitely.

Everything is set up to run at full performence without going to sleep or low power. You are right im running headless. With roon it works for month without any dropouts or errors. But i might give mphetamine a try. But for now my trial has run out
