I have a 2017 Mac mini, Teac 301 Dac, Tangent Ampster BT ll Amp. I’ll try to get to the point quickly. Hadn’t used the Mac Mini in over a year, it had stopped working and moved etc. Anyways put a new SSD drive in and got it going. Installed the Monterey 12.3 beta. Hooked up Dac to Mac Mini via USB downloaded Audirvāna software. Made the Teac USB my default device. Problem is I don’t have my sound. The Mac sound application says “The selected device has no output controls” Help me please this is getting very frustrating lol. Thanks

Do you have another computer with a bit more RAM.
Sorry I thought I replied to you earlier, I have been trying everything I can think of. I have a windows laptop but not another mac. I have it working with Catalina I think about a year and a half ago. When I put the new hard drive in a reinstalled with Catalina but let it upgrade to Monterey not thinking how it might effect things.
dont put your mac sound through your DAC, right click to tell mac speakers to be default… output and Alert, like in my pict
Studio will use the Midi Setup when it start, you don’t have to play with it yourself

That solution did not work, with the Dac not powered on the sound came through the Mac speakers.
Once I turned the Dac on the sound stopped, also I’m not sure how that would help anyways. The sound need to go through the Dac and my amplifier no ?
when you have the system macos sound on the dac, you can hear the trash bin getting empty while listening to music… you make an error on your mac, you hear the bump sound in your music… not ideal.
if your dac is seen in ,midi audio setup it is good. the rest is Studio that will take care of.
