Having used 3.5 and AO extensively, I am trying a free month of AS to see what I think. I notice that under ‘LOCAL’ in AS there is no ‘Recently Added’ (but there is in AO). This is a feature I use a lot and sorely miss. Also missing: ‘HD.’ ‘SACD,’ ‘DSD’ and so forth from the same location. Is it because it’s a free trial version?

‘Recently Added’ is present. The free trial version is not limited in this respect and it should be present there as well.
There is a difference between Studio and Origin. In Origin it is present under the header ‘Library’ and in Studio under the header ‘LOCAL’.
Make sure you have the option ‘Show local library format views…’ enabled otherwise ‘recently added’ does not show (a tad illogical I must admit. Maybe even a bug?).
