Only local HD album art showing on local library screen

As I’m trying out Audirvana, I’m finding that my local file library is only showing album covers for my HD albums. However, when I click into any of the non-hd albums, that cover art shows if it’s an album also in Quboz, leading me to believe the meta data must be correct. All of my local HD albums do show their album art in the library screen. Is there a setting or something I need to change to be able to see all of the album art in my local library for albums with correct metadata?

Thank you.

I’ll also add that I see the same behavior for my local artists, where some are showing and others are not. But when I click into most of them, they show correctly.

This is all happening in Studio.

Please try using the maintenance function in the settings page. If it still doesn’t work, please post your app’s Debug Info in this post to take further steps.

Note: Debug Info is available on the My Account page.

Thanks for the response. I went through all 4 maintenance items, and nothing changed. My library isn’t huge…yet. I’m trying Audirvana because I’d like to build my library but want to have a platform that will help me manage it, and allow playback at the highest level possible. So hopefully I can figure this out.

Here is my debug information…

If it’s helpful, my set up is that my local library resides on a Synology NAS. I use Plex and have all of my local music files in a folder in my Plex server folder structure. I simply linked my AV Studio installation to that folder over our network in the settings.

Here are two screen captures showing the issue…

Hi @mic50trider,

When yo go to the folder containing Hits from Phil Collins, does the tracks you have in it have the artwork embedded? Can you do the comparaison with Thrilller ?

Hi Antoine. Thank you for your response. So, that appears to be the difference. In the HD folders on my repository, there are PDF docs that include the album art. I purchased most of those, so that make sense. Whereas the non HD albums are ones I ripped from my CDs.

So with that being the case, I assume it is required to have to create the album art from scratch for each album or artist? Or is there some way to tie into an online database to get them?
