Origin & Legacy continually Sync

So, I recently acquired a NEW Mac Mini and reinstalled ALL my software from scratch. I installed clean copies of both Audirvana Origin and Legacy Audirvana 3.5.

In both instances, the applications are continually syncing even after they have scanned and indexed all the albums. At first, I thought it was version-specific, but as it occurs with both, I wiped out the Audirvana folder in the ~Library folder on the Mac Mini and reconfigured both applications.

I decided to be patient, and it has now been more than 2 hours, and they are still syncing. This does not affect the playback of music in any way.

Scratching my head, this is rather odd.

If there are any files in your local library which produce errors (you can see that in Audirvana’s log file in the settings) Audirvana will keep scanning and scanning because it will only stop scanning if there are no errors anymore. Also *.cue files in your library can cause problems.
Try to resolve (for instance by removing the files) the errors in the log. Also try to remove the cue files and see what happens.

Well, that was fun, some how I managed to flip the switch and have hidden files in the directories being scanned. The offending files, which once removed cleared things up , were of the ".zip" variety. That would do it.
