I would not be surprises advice on this depend of windows 10 or 11 users…
@Agoldnear How did you manage to roll it back?
@PML this update seems to be more drastic for windows, from my very cloudy understanding of these things. There’s a mention that the latest version is now also compatible with MacOS Sequoia (I assume it’s some newer version of Apple OS) but what we are noticing on this thread seems more like a Windows version thing. You said it sounds better for you? Are you using an Apple computer?
No I’m on Windows 11 latest, and Studio sound better on my side via UPnP, .NET 8 could be better on 11 than 10 it’s just a supposition
Ah ok, I misread that, I’m also on win11 24H2.
To be honest I no longer have an opinion on this. The upgrade I’ve made a couple of days after the update was installing Stack Audio Auva 100 isolation feet on my speakers. They now settled down and everything is massively better, so I can’t make a comparison. If we could roll back the upgrade I would be a lot more confident with a personal opinion but I trust other people’s ear. Apparently everyone here noticed a difference, regardless if for the better or worse.
