Parametric Equalizer for each stereo channel

Hi,

in a near future it will be possible to have separate parametric equalizer for the left and right channel? ( without using a VST plugin )

Are you sure it makes sense? I doubt

Why not?
Unfortunately I have the left speaker near a corner with strong resonance round 40hz, the right speaker don’t have this resonance but is near a closet and have resonance round 190hz.
With separate parametric equalizer I could handle the resonances in different ways

The gods at audirvana won’t give you L/R gain control… What makes you think you would get an EQ for L/R… LOL…

Find a mastering quality VST plugin or go for a DRC convolution solution and then add a VST Old Skool Parametric EQ plugin to taste…

The audirvana developer(s) seem(s) to believe that every listening room situation one could think of must be just nicely l/r symmetrical …

More like, the Audirvāna developers know that there exists multiple variations and approaches to room/speaker correction and alignment, that can be better applied through the plug-in architecture… How many DAW’s do you know of, that have vertically-integrated room/speaker DSP? I can’t think of a single DAW that has this capacity. Simple parametric equalization is not comprehensive enough…
Take for instance, the ‘Room Shaper’ plugin by Home Audio Fidelity:

Room Shaper

Room Shaper is an innovative correction solution focusing on room resonances. As the involved technology is not standard filtering, we can only offer it as a separate plugin.

You might have a look at something like the Hang Loose Host which would allow you to route left and right channels to a left and right instance of an EQ plugin at the host computer level and not plugged in to Audirvana…
