Is it possible to play back my local library of albums in random order, BUT also play the tracks within that album in their original order for that album?

I think you will find that you can only have this outcome by manually playing each album.

My imagination has been peaked by you post.
I could, if your posited tweak tickles the boss and in implemented, and consequently eventuates, line up my vast collection of Mahler Symphonies, (my collection finally completed only toda with the 10th) from 1 to 10 as well as… Song Cycles for many hours of Marhlerania.
It might be a wonderfull way to set up 12 hours in this universe and then of course a repeat performances in the Imaging of slowly dying traversing the multiverses.
I support this projct with all my appreciation of German Romantic-Modern music.
Just the thought of it calms my fears of a painful death… Love you Gustav.
