Playback stop when using other app

I have the same problem if I add an app to the Applications folder or open an email only Mac ruining Catalina and Audirvana 3.5.28. I have included a copy of the debug report if this will help anyone to discover a solution!

Hello @JohnGregory, it’s really strange, i notice that you have an MMAudio Device that can be used in Audirvana. What is this ? It could be the source of your issue.

It is part of the Mac software that has been there since the being, it has been present since Mac OS X Mojave. This problem began with the latest update of this great audio app! Thanks for your help. I do appreciate your response.:grinning::grinning:

I’m sorry but I’m on Mojave and i don’t see it in my debug info of Audirvana. Did i missed something?

You’re right. The driver was installed by a graphics app that I have used for about 5 years. It was installed when I installed the app. It was a part of the Painting app that allowed audio input to create special effects. I had forgotten about that. I have deleted the driver and yes even the app. Hopefully that will solve the problems! Thanks much for your insight!
