Playing DSD128 to PS Audio Sprout

I have my Macbook connected to my Sprout 100 using a USB C to B cord into the Sprouts DAC. By default Audirvana converted the DSD to PCM on playback. The DSD128 file of See Something from Octave Records sounded good when played this way other than that the brushes on a snare drum that sounded more like static noise than they should. I went into settings for the Sprout in Audirvana and tried both DSD over PCM 1.0 and DSD over PCM 1.1, but both produced a very low level noisy playback.

Hi @Agoldnear, are you tested the iDefender+ ?

I employ iDefender+ to isolate my library SSD attached to my MacBook Pro via USB3.0ā€¦ I employ iGalvanic 3 (no longer available) on my USB 3 signal path to my DACā€¦ These are just some of the many pieces that I employ in my playback system for noise mitigation,
