Plugins don't work with Marantz PM7000N

Hi, the plugins don’t work with Marantz PM7000N.
I can no longer use any plug-in while playing a music, simply dont’t show the plug-in popup. Besides, I think the plugins not are working even at background. I remember that at one time you had resolved this, but now the problem has returned.

Please paste your Debug information here, so folks can help you the best possible… it is found here: Settings–> My Account–> Help–> Debug information.

Plug-ins operate on the signals presented to them and the results are output to the destination device which has nothing to do with how the plug-in works… You may want to contact the plug-in designer to get some insights on the behavior… Compatibility can change with updates.

Why are you not using ASIO or WASAPI?

Also, lower your playback pre-load memory allocation to 4GB… You are allocating approximately 60% of your System RAM for playback pre-load memory.

Have you tried disabling your virus software and removing the ‘JPLAY Driver’ software?
In regard to the virus software, maybe it see the plug-ins as a potential threat… The JPLAY Driver is competing with Audirvana for I/O specific API’s.

If you are trying to play DSD files (We see that you are converting DSD to PCM) You will not be able to apply DSP processing to 1-bit DSD signals… The plug-in module will not be available.

Yes this is a long known problem that audirvana is not able to play DSD to Marantz PM7000N. And possibly to other HEOS devices.

I’ve been asking for a fix for years.

We see in the debug report that the UPnP protocol for the device does not support native DSD… The maximum DSD sample-rate this could possibly support is 2.8MHz (DSD64) via DoP (DSD over PCM) as the PCM carrier sample-rate for DSD64 (2.8MHz) is 24/176.4kHz, However, you will never get plug-in functionality when playing 1-bit DSD files.

It looks to me, the PM7000N can play DSD files up-to 5.6MHz (DSD128) via an attached USB storage device on the USB-A port.

Playing back files stored on a PC and NAS

This unit is compatible with MP3 ID3-Tag (Ver. 2) standard.

This unit is compatible with WMA META tags.

If the image size (pixels) of an album artwork exceeds 500 × 500 (WMA/MP3/WAV/FLAC) or 349 × 349 (MPEG-4 AAC), then music may not be played back properly.

A server or server software compatible with distribution in the corresponding formats is required to play music files via a network

For playing mentioned audio formats via a network a server software, for example Twonky Media Server or jRiver Media Server, needs to be installed on your computer or NAS for full support. There are other server software available too. Please check supported formats.

Hum… This issue occurs with any Tidal music format (flac, mqa, dsd) that I try to play. I remember there was a time when they had solved this problem and the plugin popup appeared and worked normally during playback.

Yes, and it happens with any local downloaded DSD file w/o any plugins enabled, if you try to play them to PM7000N via UPNP.
