You need to open File explorer and go to your C:/ drive and follow this path (what’s in the square brackets are related to your own computer):

C:\Users[your login]\AppData\Local\Packages\Audirvana.Audirvana-[… id number that can vary]\LocalCache\Local\Audirvana\Audirvana

Thank you for you help. I found it. That is the deepest I have ever gone into File Explorer so I hope I have done it correctly. I had 5 different Audirvana.log files so I have emailed you the last two to support@audirvana.com. Hope this helps.

I received your mail. Do you have a audirvana.dmp file in this folder or not at all?

Yes, I will email it now as well. Thanks once again for your quick reply

Sorry to message again. I checked the Dmp file and it seems to be in a text I dont understand is that correct?

Send me the file and I will tell you if it’s the right one.

Is that ok?

you seems to have opened the file, can you just send the file and not the content in it?

Thank you for your patience and time Antoine. I’m Autistic so it takes me a little time to find and work things out. Hopefully Ive have done it correctly now : )

Hi @Antoine
Log and Dmp files emailed to support, apologies for the delay.

Hi @Antoine

Have updated to 1.8.5, and Qobuz appears to be working fine now.
Paused an album last night, and continued playing it this morning with no problem.

I also think the updates to the remote (iPhone only used at the moment) are great. It’s good to be able to ‘list’ the artists with a small thumbnail as opposed to the larger layout.

Great work, thank you :+1:

So after updating to 1.11.0, I now find I’m unable to play ANYTHING from Qobuz, I get the ‘loading first track’ message’ and then nothing. This ultimately leads to me having to force close Studio.
I’ve restarted Studio, logged out of my Qobuz account, and also attempted playback on a second PC, all to no avail.
Playback of local files still works (most of the time).
After what seems to have been half a lifetime perservering with Studio it’s now obvious to me that this really is THE most bug-ridden, temperamental, non-stable software I think I’ve ever had the misfortune to ‘purchase’.
I was intending to delay subscribing to ROON until my existing Studio subscription had expired. However I now appear to have no option other than subscribe or risk losing my remaining available subscription to Qobuz if I stick with this rubbish.
I’ll return in a few months to see if the bugs which make this software almost unusable have been eliminated, although I very much doubt they will have been.
Overall Studio has been an extremely poor experience.

Have you tried reducing the pre-load cache? Can you dump the debug info here?

Hi @bitracer
Many thanks in attempting to assist :+1:
However I’ve now replaced my streamer with an Auralic Aries so use the proprietary solution of Lightning DS whilst streaming to my hi-fi (rock solid), and will probably persevere with ROON for local headphone listening (via Win10). My Studio subscription has been paused and I doubt will be resumed.

Any update with regard to this problem, or has it simply been ‘forgotten’?

Hello @Ironz,

We have not been able to reproduce the issue you describe, so it’s hard for us to fix an issue we can’t reproduce.

The bet way for you would be first to reinstall Audirvāna Studio.

Special Warning : When you uninstall, you will lose all the Playlists you created in Audirvāna Studio.

However, you can back-up all those Playlists by going in the Local section of Audirvāna Studio.

Hi @Antoine

Uninstalled and reinstalled as suggested.
No differenece. Play anything via Qobuz and after about a minutes delay the sixth track plays as opposed to the first.
Audirvana sounds great, no denial. Would love to use it as my preffered source, but it’s just not reliable enough.
Luckily Lightning DS works flawlessly.
A suggestion if I may. Make UPnP reliable within Audirvana as a priority- forget the bells and whistles of the UI. Being able to actually listen to your music is, after all, the bread and butter of music playback software?
Cheers.

Although, interestingly, if I jump between different albums/artists, Studio behaves as expected. The problem only seems to present itself upon FIRST (initial) Qobuz playback?!?

So it’s like your device is playing a completely different song that the one you play after a minute? That’s really odd since I don’t have this issue with my UPnP devices on my side. Can you take a look at your audirvana.log file and send the lines you have after you reproduced your issue?

It can be in two different locations :
C:\Users[your login]\AppData\Local\Packages\Audirvana.Audirvana-[… id number that can vary]\LocalCache\Local\Audirvana\Audirvana
C:\Users[your login]\AppData\Local\Audirvana\Audirvana
